Today I ran a few errands with my mom. The whole time I was running around, I was thinking how much easier it is now than it was a month ago. I've gotten a lot more familiar with the streets and businesses both here and in Fresno, and don't get lost as much. But not like it was in Albuquerque. I knew that city like the back of my hand. Anywhere I wanted to go, as long as I had the address, I knew where it was. Familiarity is definitely a comfort. I miss it a lot, as well as all my friends and family, and yes, work too.
Start date for school is getting closer which is good, because I'm going a little stir crazy. I feel useless not having a job or a purpose. My sister-in-law and I stay pretty busy keeping up the house with 9 of us living here, but it's not the same. I'll tell you what though. She is an amazing woman. Just keeping up with all the stuff she had to before we got here was a feat in itself. She has 4 kids ranging in age from 4-16. 3 boys and a girl. My nephews are Scott-16, Chris-8, Mikey-4 and my niece is Shelby-9. She's very involved in their school and sports, makes them lunch everyday, as well as for my brother before he goes to work. The house is always clean, laundry always done, and you ask her anything about the kids habits, personalities, school work or teachers, and she knows it all. She also knows what is going on around town, who's involved, and what other people's kids are doing too! In addition to that, she and my brother are very social, and are always entertaining their friends or going out with them. I don't know how she does it. After 12 years of marriage, they are the cutest couple. They still go on dates with eachother, he still pinches her on the behind when he goes by her, and she is head over heels in love with him. It's a great family to be involved in. I'm very lucky. Ok then, that's about it for me. I just wanted to give you an introduction to my family. Hope you're all doing well, I miss you and can't wait to hear from you.

I'm soooo happy your surrounded by love :)
I echo Yvonne's comment. I am so glad that you are surrounded by love and have some support instead of having everything dropped on your shoulders. I'm happy that you are finding your bearings way out west.
Sure do miss you
Love you,
m
