Virgo vs. Libra

Hi all! It's your friendly neighborhood virgo speaking. For those of you familiar with the Virgo and Libra battle, it's been interesting. Several years ago, while working the graveyard shift at APD dispatch, there must have been a full moon. My co-workers and I were apparently giving our supervisor (who is now my best friend) quite a hard time. Not in a bad way... just 5 outspoken, opinionated women having a friendly debate, yeah right! To make a short story long, My supervisor, Marlyn, had just about had it with us, and knew that at least one of us was a Virgo. Not only is she a Libra, but she has a deep-seeded hatred of Virgos. I'm pretty sure it's because we're always right and perfect, and she really had a longing to be a Virgo herself :) Anyway, she made a not very nice comment about Virgos, and Yvonne, our meekest and quietest of the bunch (yes that was sarcasm) piped up and said, hey! I'm a Virgo,,,Robin said the same thing,,hey wait! I'm a Virgo, I then chimed in with my "I'm a Virgo too" as well as Rita and Kathy. The look on her face was priceless when she found out she had a room full of Virgo dispatchers. Since then, it's been a bloody battle, and of course, Virgos always come out triumphant. I love you more than anything, Marlyn, but you're a Libra. I think we can cure that though :)

I hope you're all doing well, and I really appreciate the posts on this blog. I love reading them. Monday I went and took a test and interviewed for my CNA class. They called the next day and told me I had been selected for it, woohoo! I start September 17th for 8 weeks, and then I can work as CNA while I'm going on for my RN. It should take about a year and a half I think. I also got my California driver's license which is pretty much comparable to jumping hoops, but I'm not officially a California resident and voter! I miss you all a lot and welcome all the emails, text messages, and posts! Keep them coming, I love hearing what's going on in the Q.
